Parenting Programs

Each term we run a parenting course for parents and carers, usually at our centre in Pendle Hill. We vary which course we are offering, based on demand and the needs that we see in our casework, group work and in the community.

We also partner with other services or local schools to deliver parenting programs requested by community groups. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the possibility of us running a parenting program for your school or community group.

Some of the parenting programs that we are able to run include:

  • Circle of Security Parenting
  • Tuning in to Kids/Tuning in to Teens
  • Bringing Up Great Kids
  • Triple P (Positive Parenting Program)
  • The Incredible Years

Our parenting group in Term 2 2026 will be:

Bringing Up Great Kids
A five-session parenting group for mums, dads and carers of children.
This reflective parenting program (developed by the Australian Childhood Foundation) aims to promote positive, respectful parent/child relationships. The program focuses on how parents communicate with their children, and offers easy opportunities for parents to learn about how children understand and use messages from their parents in their development.

Participation in this group is free, and onsite childcare is available (also free!). However, places are limited, so registration is essential.

Dates:  Thursdays, 14 May – 11 June

Time: 9:15am — 11:15am

Place: Toongabbie East Public School (2 Harris Rd, Wentworthville)

FREE childcare available

To register or for more information, please call 02 9636 8437.
