Playgroup is a time when parents/carers and their children can:

• Spend time playing and interacting in different ways with each other.
• Have new experiences and meet new people who live locally.
• Understand child development and encourage this through play.
• Increase skills and confidence.
• Share ideas with other families.
• Have fun outside the home
